Foreclosed home sale in Beaufort SC were slightly higher in 2011 then they were in 2010. The number of foreclosure homes in Northern Beaufort County that went to closing and was sold in 2010 was 354 or about 29 homes per month. That number for this year through Oct. has reached 319 or about 31 homes per month. These figures include single family homes, mobile homes, prefabricated homes, as well as condominiums. The median price of sold foreclosures, as in homes in general, is following a downward trend. In 2010 the median price was $105,000 where as through 2011 that figures has dropped to $99,000.
The average days on market is somewhat longer with 2010 being 100 days and through Oct. of this year that number has risen to 142 days.
